Zenitsu Agatsuma is a prominent character in the popular manga and anime series, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is a skilled Demon Slayer and a traveling companion of the protagonist, Tanjiro Kamado.
Zenitsu is characterized by his cowardly and anxious disposition. He often expresses extreme fear and a lack of confidence in his abilities, frequently resorting to crying or panicking in the face of danger. This fear, however, ironically fuels his true strength.
Despite his outward cowardice, Zenitsu is a master of Thunder Breathing, specifically the First Form: Thunderclap and Flash. He possesses incredible speed and power when he enters a state of unconsciousness brought on by intense fear. In this state, his trained instincts take over, allowing him to execute his technique with exceptional precision.
He is motivated by a desire to be useful and live up to the expectations of his former mentor, Jigoro Kuwajima, and harbors a deep-seated fear of being abandoned. He is also known for his infatuation with Nezuko Kamado, Tanjiro's demon sister, and his constant, often comedic, attempts to win her affection.
